On the road...
1998 TOUR
The tour presented Gary Cherone, the third vocalist, with Van Halen. The empathy between them was easily noticed (specially between Gary and Ed) and the band went back to the high-energy shows they had in the past, after being accused of slowing down with Sammy. Eleven shows were cancelled in Europe because of Alex's injury, but this was also the tour where the band first travelled to the land down under, performing in New Zealand and Australia.
