Edward Van Halen's guitars
PEAVEY WOLFGANG CUSTOM LAS VEGAS

This guitar was a "Vault" model and its main feature, aside from the body designs by John Douglas, are the neck marks, the evh blocks which consist of mother-of-pearl striped blocks.

The body binding and all the hardware is black. The guitar specs are:
  • Measures: 12-5/8" wide, 1-3/4" thick, 36-1/4" long;
  • Model: Wolfgang Custom Standard (with tremolo);
  • Body wood: basswood;
  • Body and sides color: seafoam;
  • Top wood: basswood (solid);
  • Top color: seafoam;
  • Neck: figured birdseye maple;
  • Fretboard: matching birdseye maple;
  • Fretboard inlays: evh blocks;
  • Binding: cream;
  • Hardware: chrome;
  • Headstock: maple;
  • Tuners: Schaller, 3+3 offset;
  • Lettering: black;
  • Neck attachment: four bolts;
  • Pickups: two DiMarzio custom wound designed by EVH;
  • Bridge: Floyd Rose with d-tuna installed on lower E-string; this tremolo unit is recessed (lowers pitch only).
