EVH NEW PRODUCTS PRESENTED AT NAMM 2011
The EVH Wolfgang Stealth and Wolfgang Custom guitars, along with the 5150 III 50W amp, were unveiled at the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show.
The 2011 NAMM show is the largest music trade show in the USA, with more than 80,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors from over 100 countries. The convention features the music industry's newest musical instruments and state-of-the-art technologies.
Edward Van Halen presented two new guitar models (the EVH Wolfgang Stealth and the Wolfgang Custom), along with a small form-fact 50-watt amplifier, the 5150 III 50W (pictured here, with Edward and Chris Cannella).
Looking a little closer at the guitars specs:
EVH Wolfgang Stealth – basswood body, arched maple top, bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, ebony fretboard, 25.5" scale, EVH pickups, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way switch, (recessed) Floyd Rose bridge;;
EVH Wolfgang Custom – basswood body, arched maple top, set-in mahogany neck, mahogany fretboard, 24.75" scale, (nickel-covered) EVH pickups, 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3-way switch, stop-tail bridge with Tunomatic style fine tuners.
