2012 (in support to the"A Different Kind of Truth" album)
Finally, after 27 years... a new album and correspondant tour with DLR. It started with an intimate concert in New York and followed all through the USA and Canada. They are playing new stuff, old stuff and even ancient stuff they haven't played since the late seventies... 24 songs a night: hitting it off with "You Really Got Me" and closing it, like in 2007 and 2008, with "Jump" amidst a true firework and confetti rain party. 2007~2008 (return to the 1978~1984 catalog, no new album)
Finally, back with DLR... twenty-two years after the band parted ways with David Lee Roth and eleven years after they were onstage (and recorded two songs) with him, the dream became a reality for most of the Van Halen fans; although it had to be briefly postponed, late September saw the band, with Wolfgang Van Halen on bass, hitting the stage at top gear and full speed... David returned, Wolfgang entered, Alex and Eddie remained... [

2004 (in support of the "Best Of Both Worlds" compilation)
The long awaited reunion. After 6 years of little activity as a band, Van Halen regrouped with Sammy Hagar for an american tour. High priced tickets did not prevent old and new friends from attending more than one concert... meaning the band was putting out a great show. In some places, Edward's son joined him onstage for the guitar solo, but the big question remained... was this a tour only or a real comeback (album included) ?! [

1998 (in support of the "Van Halen 3" album)
The only tour the band took with Gary Cherone was a success but failed to validate the singer with the fans. Great performances boosted with high energy by Gary without trashing (or favouring) any of the previous vocalists started in Australia and New Zealand (their first ever visit there) and flew back to the US and Canada. Fortunately, we got to see them in Toronto and there was no health problems for Eddie or Alex... high positive energy only !!! [
