Edward Van Halen's guitars
KRAMER

This connection between Edward Van Halen and Dennis Berardi's brand will always be remembered as it was with Kramer guitars that the "red, black & white" striped model become famous. This exactly can be prooved by the Los Angeles Hard Rock Cafe's pin of Edward's guitar replica (with the "banana style" head). And still today, the EVH striped guitar remains as the flagship of the guitars from Neptune, New Jersey.

Although there were no striped guitars for sale (Edward would grab some parts from the Charvel factory - mainly the Baretta and Pacer models - and build "his" own guitar), there were a lot of ads in publications with Edward advertising various Kramer guitar models (including the Kramer Ferrington acoustic/electric model), and the Kramer brand itself.

Nowadays, Kramer Guitars are owned by Gibson and they have an EVH model (the Kramer 1984) available for purchase.
