The headliners for this year's Soundwave Festival in Australia will be "the mighty" Van Halen.


From September 24th to October 3rd, the band will play 5 concerts in the land down under.

The EVH Wolfgang Stealth and Wolfgang Custom guitars, along with the 5150 III 50W amp, were unveiled at the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show.

The cover of the March 2007 issue doesn't feature a real photo of Ed's, but rather a digitally morphed picture.

Van Halen recently made available pages at MySpace and Twitter so that fans can follow them a little closer.

Eddie Van Halen married his publicist Janie Liszewski at his Studio City home tonight. Eddie’s son Wolfgang served as best man and his brother Alex officiated the vows.

Prior to the ceremony, 100 guests, including Valerie Bertinelli, enjoyed cocktails on the lawn and music provided by the Sonus Quartet.

Eddie and Janie dated for three years before tying the knot.

They plan to honeymoon in New York and the Netherlands.

The new Van Halen had a busy week with live rehearsals and VIP guests were the firsts to be thrilled with it... from Scott Ian (Anthrax) to Wes Scantlin, passing by Kirk Hammett (Metallica) to John 5 (Marylin Manson), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne) and Steve Lukather.

Like it always happens before a concert tour kicks off, Van Halen hosted a rehearsal for a small quantity of people.

Beginning this September, Van Halen will embark on a north-american concert tour throughout the USA and Canada with its original lead singer David Lee Roth for the first time in 22 years.

Once again, he's got short/shaved hair and has lost considerable weight, looking like the Eddie from 1995...

He attended a Nascar race and even had the time to pose for a few pictures, alongside Mark Martin and model Gena Lee Nolin.

Right now, the possibility of heading back into the studio and the delayed/postponed tour is on every fan's mind.

Finally, Van Halen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along other names such as R.E.M. and Patti Smith.

They were inducted by Velvet Revolver who even performed a couple of Van Halen tunes. Sammy and Mike attended the show.

It really seems that Van Halen's lineup for the upcoming tour will definately not include Michael Anthony but rather Edward's son, Wolfgang. Rolling Stone magazine showed a picture of what is Van Halen 2.0 !!!
